In the case of a delay in data caused by a federal government shutdown impacting the reliability of the Source Agency, the market’s latest Expiration Date will be extended to the sooner of the release of the Underlying or six months after the end of the government shutdown.

- $16K in 24h is 55% of all-time volume, signaling fresh interest in an already-consensus inflation call.
- Volume into a 99% contract likely reflects late arbitrage or hedging against portfolio inflation assumptions.
- Resolves on the official BLS core CPI figure for November 2026.
- Core CPI for 2026 seen settling near 2.8 percent Kalshi ladder
- Kalshi ladder implies a core CPI year-over-year rate near 2.8-2.9%, with 60% pricing above 2.8% but only 24% above 2.9%.
- News coverage flags inflation running above 2% as a political headwind for midterms; the ladder's distribution is consistent with that narrative.
- The sharp drop from 60% above 2.8% to 24% above 2.9% shows the market sees limited upside risk beyond the current run rate.
- Resolution is via the named BLS core CPI print; the ladder collapses quickly above 3.0% (only 16%), suggesting the market does not price a re-acceleration.
- Core CPI above 2.2% for November year, near certainty holds 99% · $34K 24h
- Kalshi prices core CPI above 2.2% for the November year-end period at 99%, effectively a market consensus call.

- Core CPI inflation path seen near 2.8-2.9 percent Kalshi ladder
- The Kalshi ladder prices 57% above 2.8% and 41% above 2.9%, implying consensus sits in the 2.8-2.9% range for the reference core CPI print.
- Trading volume on this ladder rose 187x day-over-day, a strong signal the September 3.7% headline CPI beat is drawing fresh positioning on the disinflation path.
- The 8% Kalshi contract on sub-2.2% core CPI (CM-EVT-K0L95NMQ77) and this 2.8-2.9% ladder are mutually consistent: both price a slow, incomplete disinflation trajectory.
- Resolution depends on the BLS CPI release; the ladder's implied 2.8-2.9% range is well below the current 3.7% headline, reflecting an expectation that energy-driven spikes are partly transient.
